I'm thinking about ordering some cannabis oil. I have 2 degenerative discs and 2 herniated discs. The pain meds don't agree with me and I'm looking for some more natural pain relief. I had thought that I saw somebody else post about trying some (maybe Bullethead?) and wondered how effective it proved to be. Even if it helped with sleep that would be great.

yes I vape Koi CBD oil. The 1000mg dragon fruit. I use a little vaporizer you would use for electronic cigarettes.

It knocks me out after about 20 puffs, in about 30 minutes I am out cold.

pain relief is pretty good, almost like a strong tumeric supplement.

Honestly Tumeric is probably healthier. 1200mg of Tumeric should do it for pain.

I put link below to the CBD oil I like to use. Is there medical marijuana available where you live? Because that would be best as there are other cannaboids in the plant that interact with the body, these pure extracts are not that good. Remember Marinol? The failed attempt by big pharma to isolate THC and use that and try to patent it?

When my lower back acts up, I swear by this, expensive but worth it.

The Life Extension Super Bio curcumin is the same BCM-95 with 400mg and is a lot cheaper. There may be other BCM-95 products out there also with a lower price. Yo BH. Tell the OP about ziziphus and sleep. T456

She consumes hers mixed with juice or whatnot. Don't think she is regular enough about it to receive any cumulative effect. She seems to feel it helps a bit, but not greatly.

As bullethead stated, turmeric may offer better relief. I certainly find it effective for serious flareups & tend to combine it with ginger & black pepper. Have not personally tried the CBD, so can't give direct input there.

I obtained a prescription for medical cannabis this year and the product I use most is an oil based extract with a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD.

This was an effort to try an alternative to more opioids, or other prescriptions that were mostly ineffective and/or heavy on side effects.

It's been a great help in getting some decent sleep, which hasn't happened for years. The product is ingested from an eye dropper that can measure out fractions of a ml and lets me increase/decrease the dosage easily.

Very happy with the results I've been getting.
