wow, you guys amaze me. I've learned so much from you older gents (some are 20 years older in their 60s, nice hanging out with you all), about to hit 40, should have been doing this for awhile I should say I should have started at 30.

here's health benefits of psyllium fiber, which is what the popular metamucil uses, seems to parallel what Tweaker456 proves that flaxseed does as well. very cool stuff. good poops to you.

IMHO flax is the much better choice. I believe that the " info" in your video that says psyllium doesn't cause gas is incorrect, at least in some people. It's likely dose dependent also. It sure looks like flax has some other benefits beyond psilly seed. It you want laughs from farting just take a bunch of silly seed. Why do you think it has that name?? Want some more advice from an elder? Don't get old. Keep up your extremely high salt and junk food intake. And the Coors lite? Five to twelve a day. Lay around most of the time and watch the news. That should do it. T456

I have nothing to do for quite some time with my current unemployment situation, farts in the meantime are enjoyable to me and are a gas (pun intended).

I picked up some Metamucil fiber today, I took too much on day 1, I learned my lesson. I'll stick to 2 spoons a day from now on.

I will keep your flax post in mind, I've been new to all this, thankfully I've learned something from you all. I appreciate it.

as I've said before, always a pleasure to talk to you. your knowledge of herbs are a benefit for us all. thanks a lot.

I included a link below to a psyllium product called Konsyl. It doesn't contain added sugars and flavorings like Metamucil does.

I've never had a problem with constipation (except once when I was on the Atkins diet), in fact the opposite is generally the case, especially when I eat hot foods.

In addition to the health benefits, the Konsyl keeps the squirts in check. After my last colonoscopy the doctor said to increase fiber intake, so I've upped my dose of Konsyl.

Stay healthy, Bullet!

What you are shooting for. Ones that flow freely into the toilet. Like autumn leaves falling into a still pond.
