Terence McKenna quote that is.

He is right we are still flinging fecal matter at each other. Pounding our chests and sabre rattling and murdering each other, and it is supposed to be 2017 A.D. You would think we would evolve past that by now? I am saying "we", as I am still considered a human here.

Also I checked out the video you posted, my dad has a war related illness from Agent Orange, (USA Air Force) he has M.S, he's 70, quadriplegic but I am glad he is still here for me. I am very fortunate,

Thankfully the war drums have settled down here in the US, although one cannot guess what's going to happen today or tomorrow. My eyes are open.

Make sure, if not already looked into as I suspect it very well might have, is that you look into the roll of Vitamin D in MS. Super important.

What IS the role of Vitamin D in MS? Take more 'D'? Skip it altogether?
'D' enables or retards the condition?

For my .05$, humans may not be intelligent. Or if so, intelligence may not have 'survival value'.
IMO, the jury is still out on humanities long-term prospects for survival. We could STILL take ourselves out of the Cosmic Gene Pool, something we've been capable of doing for only 50 or 60 years.

Even IF Aliens are here, will they take overt action to bail us out? Are they acting under cover to try to help? Would helping us be 'against the rules'? Or maybe they want the place for themselves after we 'vacate'? If Humanity were renters, would we have already gotten our eviction notice?

Low D is linked with increased incidence of MS. Lots of stuff easy to find out on the net. D potentially prevents or reduces the impact of many autoimmune diseases. It is an immune system modulator. As to aliens being here the evidence is so overwhelming that if one can't conclude that it is factual I'm not sure what the reason for looking for facts and evidence is. T456

Ok, #456, let's say I DO beleve 'they are here' and among us.

Now? Are they here to Observe? Help? Hinder? If they are NOT alien, but instead from the FUTURE, as I believe, are they here for Genetic Material to fix a problem?
Do 'they' operate within a set of constraints familiar to fans of Star Trek (prime directive)?

Aside questions include but are not limited to the HOW of interstellar travel. It must be cheap and easy. Likewise, any proposed Time Travel.
If such travel (either type) is too expensive it may not be done, or if done, than ONLY to a limited extent. If very expensive (cultural and financial) than out of the MILLIONS of places to go, why HERE?

Many odd things on this planet. From 'out of place' artifacts, like the Baghdad Battery to relatively simple stuff like the moving of fairly well squared 1000+ ton rocks used in construction.
(baalbek?) Signs of reciprocating saws used in some quarrying operations and I've STOOD on a 1000ton Obelisk still 'in quarry' where it cracked. OOPS!

Are 'they' really here? I'm basically indifferent. Unless their is some technology exchange going on at the highest levels, I don't see a 'yes' or 'no' answer doing me any good. Even than, the goveernment will sit on it and come up with military applications before much of anything filters down. Well, maybe TANG. But Cold Fusion? FTL drive? Medical? Nope.
Too much is never enough

PG, this is the best answer I can come up with as to why they are here.

As to why they don't fix this mess, Greer's explaination in part is that it wouldn't work, that we aren't ready. He says it would be like trying to bring "democracy" to Afganastan. I can give you the particular lecture if you want. I myself don't buy this explaination. The horror level is to high. They should have the power to end this depravity,IMO. Their overt and constant presence could very likely end fundamentalist nonsence, the technology could end plutocracy. I just don't buy it. T456

While I happen to Love 'EGAE', the cast alone is a selling point and Geena Davis in a Bikini? WOW.

As for why they don't announce themselves? Earth would Self Destruct. I can't predict the mechanism, but between our tendency (LOL) for inter-tribal bickering to any one of 3 or 4 major religions which would have REAL problems with 'em, I can't see anything but a bad outcome.
You can't get 3 Earth Persons to whistle Dixie together.

I'm EASY compared to hard-core 'anti Alien' types. I'll talk. I'll listen. and even watch vids, unless they have that guy with the Bad Hair involved. But the real hard core? Ammo would empty from the shelves. Gun stores would go bare to the walls in the minimum waiting period. About 1/2 of the nutjobs would head for the hills, well armed and shooting at ANYTHING flying too close.

Believe it or not, I'm essentially sympathetic to your position.

Where would 'they' land for the announcement? White House Lawn? The Roof of the UN in NYC? The Zocalo in Mexico City? Red Square? At the Great Pyramid or maybe Nazca?

Read what Hawkings says about answering a simple radio message. And this guy is top 5% of smartness on the planet. Even HE can't figure out Crop Circles.

For me, at least, it is self-evident WHY they don't make contact, provided they are here. Maybe besides the babes, they want something else, like Strawberry Ice Cream?

Cave men with nuclear weapons. Biological/emotional evolution is severely out paced by technological advancement, providing powerful agents of destruction to humans, many of which can barely manage their hostilities.

On a positive note, we do enjoy listening to music.
