Goldens have remarkably soft mouths, because they were bred to fetch dead waterfowl without (further) damaging them. The chance that a Golden would puncture an aluminum can with its bite is vanishingly small.

Yet another reason why it's the best breed ever.

That's what I noticed. Few dogs complete the 'fetch' with closing the door.

And, another thing of note? MOSTLY cans. Few Bottles.

It's OK to like cans.
I, however, converted to Bottles, even for backpacking, well over 40 years ago.
