My exercise attempts do not seem to be making me stronger or much more mobile in a general sense, or in much of any way for the most part. I'm hoping that this type of exercise will increase my general sense of having more energy and power, an increase in overall physical toughness, drive and motivation. A strengthening of nerve force. Make sense?

I did the stairmaster for cardio and a good weight training program targeting muscle groups I wanted to enhance. Your libked method will hit tons of muscles at once and really can be a combo of anaerobic and aerobic exercise. That weight would have to be much lighter 50-75 depending on your body size compared to the larger weights shown in the article where it becomes anaerobic. It also helps balance and works many many muscles.

If you are not gaining muscle mass look at raising your caloric intake. Carbs before protein after exercise. I underate and could not gain the muscle mass I wanted. Finally I ate enough and did. I was too worried about weight gain(body fat) which never happened as long as I ate decent and exercised. The body is very forgiving Covert Bailey was right.
