1. I have a pair of JBL 2446's
2. I want to build a tractrix horn for these.
3. There are no T/S parameters in print anywhere to be found.
4. Throat is 2 inch so S1 is a known value
5. I want a lower cut-off of 800Hz
6. I have the room to build a full size (Length and Mouth) horn

Now in using Hornresp and only knowing S1 how do I get Hornresp to determine S2 and L12 for me?

Why not just buy a JBL "elephant butt cheek" horn that was designed for that very same driver? It has a rolloff at about 700 Hz. without EQ and has good dispersion out to 8 Khz. It's the second best sounding horn I've ever owned. E Pluribus Unum.

volti sells a wooden horn with tractrix flare that can bed used above 600 (or 500 if you like to stretchhhhhh your luck) . its wooden. and reasonably priced. its based on edgars design. it should work well with most jbl 2" drivers. its shape is more manageable than edgars salad bowls. i think volti's horn takes into account jbl throat exit angle (10 degree).

also, i should say it behaves well and can be used in a domestic situation without too much taming efforts

If you want to ditch the JBLs for a more modern driver Faital Pro has a 1.4" Tracktrix horn for low $$ that'll work to 800 very nicely.

in my experience most modern pro-audiot drivers aim to be part of a 2-way system in order to eliminate the need for a tweeter . they tend to favor the region above 800. for me, the real horn magic starts at 450 so the older drivers are more interesting . adding a tweeter at 4000-7000 is not harmful for my health.

True, it's very hard to find great midrange cones or domes. Only a few are easily bought and can be as pricy as horns.
