I finally tracked down a second 30210 throat to pair up with 1005b horns I found at a junk shop years go, but much to my surprise one of the throats is approximately 6mm longer than the other (both are cast aluminum) with most of the difference in the flange at the driver end of the throat. Will this difference make any audible difference between the two horns?

I wouldn't worry about only 6mm, but you could always have
a small machine shop mill off the extra for not much $.

since you know it's there?

yes

measured?

very negligible to no difference at your seated position

nothing a bit of speaker repositioning wouldn't even out

[my experience, YMMV]

be well,
