I was wondering if any Klipsch heritage user here ever tried the supposedly superior John Allen "replacement" midrange driver, the new A55G, with two parts phase plug?

I've heard it is the best k55 to date. The K55 is a great driver without these improvements. The new driver goes from +-6db in its range to +-3db in its range. Good stuff... I want a couple pair.

High sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low distortion, and smooth frequency response. Pwk

I've ordered a pair.
They are now sitting at the customs office (GRRR).
I can't wait to get them and hear them.
All included, with shipping costs to Belgium and import taxes, a pair of A55G drivers is going to cost me just above 500 Euro.
I just sold 6 spare K55V drivers for 300 euro, so I really hope the A55G will be worth the money, but reading the comments on the Klipsch website I have high hopes.
In my system they won't be attached to Klipsch K400 horns, but to EV SM120A horns.
I'll post comments when I get them. Waiting is killing me :(
