those 4281B Yamaha seem to make a great helper tweeter for 12LTA

I've got an old dumpster quality K12 which I plugged the vent then hacked a roughly 3.5 x 3.75" vent in the upper panel - I'm not wild about the distribute slit vent. Anyhow its got a moldy 12LTa - I put a 4281B on top, running in parallel - its too hot without some attenuation - but can tell its going to have killer midrange and treble. If one ran a sub, then a 12lta in a K12 with a helper would sound good indeed. I don't know if an L-pad before the tweeter is the best way to go or not. (I'll probably just try a series resistor) I've got a jillion K12 with slit vent but not a pair with K15 style vents . sssssssssssssssibilanta are BIG ;^) 12LTa with A LITTLE TOO MUCH HELP
