It's good that vintage EV is (with a few exceptions) still sort of affordable. I pulled my REgal 300 from the basement and I have to say it's quite wonderful actually once you get rid of ST35 tweeters. I really like old Jensen RP103 almost as much(or more )as pictured EV ST350 in this setup Notice semi open air placement of fullrange alnico SP8 crossed at ~100hz-300hz and 3.5kHz. Don't pass it over if you happen to stumble on a pair .crossover needs update and film 100uF on fullrange does some nice things I can't believe I had this in a basement for a few years and didn't have an inclination to work on it . I sort of pulled it out to dust it off and maybe try to sell it , well it's not going anywhere for a time being .. |

As a bit of trivia, the famous Grateful Dead "wall of sound" used T350 tweeters. :) |
