I haven't had a chance to listen yet, but just wanted to pop in and say what a great deal Bis on eclassical.com is! You can download the entire album in 24/96 FLAC for $16.18. If you aren't adventurous, just the Beethoven is $10.08, and if you have too many versions of the Beethoven, downloading just the Schnittke will cost $6.08. This is cheaper than purchasing the SACD at amazon.com. Bis records in 24/96, so I think you are getting the best resolution possible, and you get a 5.0 Multichannel FLAC, which is key for me. Downloading MC FLAC or DSD recordings on other sites is typically considerably more expensive then purchasing a physical SACD, so this is much appreciated.

I've enjoyed Gluzman's other recordings, so I suspect this will be a winner as well.

Consider this a head's-up (or a warning).

This applies only to releases on the BIS label of course.

BTW, Kal is right about the Schnittke cadenza in the Beethoven. There was a recent discussion about this over on the classical forum here, and, personally, I found Gluzman's decision to use this cadenza a sufficient disincentive to purchase this particular download for me to skip it, despite its new release discount. (I'd heard this cadenza on the old Kremer/Philips recording.)

But you could listen to it FREE because you have QOBUZ..., posted on May 27, 2021 at 15:51:59

and you could discover that it really isn't THAT bad, at least when compared to an entire Schnittke violin concerto which, for comparison purposes, is on the same release. :-)

First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass

I have to confess that I really like the Schnittke..., posted on May 27, 2021 at 18:50:11

something different to cleanse the palate. Lots of fun. Less filling, sounds great!
