Gapped playback of songs that blend in transition on some streaming sites

When I listen to some streamed albums like the Moody Blues and some long classical movement there is a drop out between songs on streaming that is not there if you playback the CD.

These songs were ment to blend into each other without a gap!

This Is disturbing to hear a loud click between the songs.

Are there any streaming sites that do not have this gap in playback?

Amazon HD has these annoying gaps.

Which steaming sites have gap less playback?

Which streaming sites have gapless playback?

It depends upon both the site, the player and the hardware.

In general you will not get gapless replay using a web browser version of the site's player. Download the desktop version or the portable version if using a phone. If you are using a network streamer that will depend on what it is. Some DNLA server based systems will not provide gapless replay.

Certain replay hardware will also not provide gapless replay with MQA encoded files e.g. Tidal Masters.

It would assist in answering your question if we knew what streaming service you are using and how.

As a direct answer , so long as the above caveats are taken into account, Qobuz certainly provides gapless replay.

I use the downloaded app on a MacBook Pro , Apple TV , Amazon cube , iPad, and iPhone.

I do not use any steamer device, just a D/A converter into a stereo system or headphones.

I have used Tidal MiQA masters and Amazon music Hd..

Only a very few albums have gaped songs

Most all albums play back gapless, without a loud pop between songs.

It is the rare few like all the Moody Blues albums and some long sides of classical that drive me crazy.

CDs played back never ever have gaps between songs. By gaps I mean loud dropout pops. Not blank quiet spaces.

I think it has to do with the streaming service from the internet, and lack of handeleling the meta data for individual tracks.
