SCD-777ES OPINION

I have had my SCD-777ES for 6 Weeks. When I first listened to it, I was very disappointed in CD playback. It was very harsh & grainy, Worse in fact than my 10yr old CDX-33Es CD player. However after about 60 hours it is now becoming very smooth & detailed. I am wondering if my ears are becoming accustomed to the sound or if there is an actual improvement. I truly feel that the sound has, in fact, improved greatly. SACD playback is wonderful with much texture, depth & richness to the sound. Hopefully the SACD format will succeed & become the new standard in hi quality 2 channel Sound reproduction.
