It's too quiet in here; too too quiet.....so here is my Monday music suggestion/recommendation/whatever a few days early!

Thievery Corporation, "The Mirror Conspiracy"

A couple of guys from DC both recording and re-mixing some chill out music. Good female vocals, good beat. I have seen them live once in Chicago, and it was excellent. If you are in DC, they have a bar/lounge, which their record company is named after- 18th Street Lounge Music. I haven't been there because my job doesn't allow for me to travel much, but maybe this summer. They also have a newer album out called "The Richest Man In Babylon", but I have only listened to it a couple of times, but it doesn't seem to have the staying power of "Mirror" on my playlist. That might change, of course.

Anybody heard this one, let's hear what you think!

I've never liked TC, although I like Thunderball's work on the same label (ESL).

Jazzy beats with a contemporary percussive world music flair. Sort of like TC. Maybe more like Jazzanova.

I like what TC did for DJ-Kicks. :-)

Thought you might like to have suggestions of other great lounge electronica suggestions if you are into TC.

Kruder & Dorfmeister - K&D Sessions
Hotel Costes - La Suite (whole 6 part series, all good but the first three were exceptional)
Cafe St Germain Vol I
Boards of Canada - early stuff
