I want to listen to CDs from the library mostly. I have a DVD player with rca , digital, and optical outputs.headphone is hd580 300 ohms.I probably need 100mw or more power for the hd580.The Fulla 2 looks nice but its 40mw at 300ohm looks anemic. Anyway less than $200 is ok and closer to $100 is even better. I probably will be a bit disappointed compared to my very good vinyl rig but I want to take advantage of the thousands of CDs available at my library.

Don't know, but just looking at the picture, it seems well appointed.

At your price range, you may have to take a chance. However, having toslink and USB and full size headphone output should be a requirement.

Have you looked into just using your computer to play the CDs? That's the cheapest route of them all.

I have separates in that price range, but what a pain with all the little boxes and connections.

Vali 2 is better. If you are listening to CDs you will appreciate a Modi Multibit Das to go with it. Here is my Vali 2 & Modi Multibit stack I use for computer music. As you can tell, its a bit muddied out with 9 pin to 6SN7 adapter and Wywires ICs and USB.

I need a better refined sound in digital since my main source is my xerxes x and 17d2.
Seems the multibit has more resolution.

I learned a long time ago to start with the source when making upgrades, otherwise I'd be just making the SOS sound louder.

I reckon the Schitt does a good job on the Senn 600's or are they still in the mix? No more Rega TT?

Real nice system as listed.

Teac HA-AP50 is all you need - tremendous build quality. Great sound.

Also works as a battery powered portable amplifier.

My Modi Multibit and Vali 2 Schiit stack can drive all my headphones with ease and sounds very nice,.
If you feel a bit more flush, go Bifrost Multibit and Lyr 2.
