for the Fulla

The Fulla Schitt (yeah, right, stop the guffaws) is a very modestly price USB DAC and headphone amp. I use it currently on my desktop system, driving Mini Magnapan speakers and HiFiMan planar headphones. I purchased this unit as a stopgap, given a problem with other gear, but knowing that I'd had great experience with other Schitt gear.

I am impressed truly with the imaging, detail, and depth this unit provides. Windows shows that it handles 24bit 192kBit data; I've tried it with FLAC files and it really does a wonderful job. The unit is noiseless, and has microphone and line level inputs, as well as headphone and line level outputs. I plan to try one of these in my "big rig," given its modest price and outsized quality.

Product Weakness: At $99? None.
Product Strengths: Detail, imaging, flexibility.

The $99 Modi, as much as I can judge from using it with iTunes/Windows/Thinkpad is a little wonder so it's no surprise the headphone/DAC isn't Fulla it.

If I was to hang up my Hakko and chisels to start from scratch today, I wouldn't look far beyond Schiit for anything.

Just realized that the Fulla shows 196khz/32 bit.
