BLATNIVIK is a business genius...if he is selling his co. why should I buy...Do not think it has the technology to dominate the future but it is 20% past it's offering price....That is why he is the richest of all the Russian 'oligarchs' I own shares of his other publicly traded companies

Even The Oracle of Omaha admits he has been wrong on some deals.

It's interesting to think where the music business is going. I think that people will always love music so don't think it's a complete loss.

My childhood hobby was electric trains -American flyer if i bought a LIONEL set I could have paid my college tuition I a DID bUy rail road stocks and they did beat the market over 25 years...so being a romantic about stocks can work - I SPENT AT LEAST $15000 CD's and records OVER 20 YEARS On what is now the WARNER LABEL...Buy what you love is not what KEYNES said; buy what 'they' love. WHO knows -Warner had a great day...deep catalogue of great music up and down in every category

It's kind of sad they now own the EMI catalogue...., posted on June 3, 2020 at 23:31:23

Everything is rebranded with blue Warner logo instead of a red EMI logo.

You stock guys REALLY missed the boat.....maybe.

BAck a couple years ago, I followed TESLA. From mid-300s to mid-200s on a regular basis. I could have made 75$ per share, maybe 3x a year.
Than? Stock went to UNDER 200. I think the 52 week low was around 175$ or so. And I was both puzzled and tempted. One guy I know HATES Musk and gave me a good lecutre on 'Fiduciary Responsibility' and other stuff dealing with stocks.

THAN it zoomed. Today? Closed over 880$ with a 52 week low of 200$ or so. I think the sound of cashing a check for 50 shares (10 grand worth from a year + ago) making 600$ per share would have been music to MY ears.......
BTW? 52 week high was mid-900s
Too much is never enough

AGREE I cannot get used to it either-probably a marketing mistake if they cared

LIke you a few years ago I was considering purchasing it for around 225$ but a good friend told me wait till it gets lower. Well, missed the dip. It would have been a handsome gain if one could deal with up and down of their stock.

To me, they are speculative as a Bitcoin. Tho if i were young, I would go for 'em.

I went thru a similar set of musings.

but with ONE difference. I'd LOVE to find a cyclic stock. One which rises and falls on a semi-regular basis. Even a small but REGULAR rise and fall can net a small profit each cycle.

I thought Tesla was IT, until it went thru my personal floor at about 200. I thought it was a SLIGHT possibility of it going even lower. Never in my wildest imaginings did I think it would crest OVER 900$

If you HAD purchased at 225 THAN simply kept it during the bottoming out? You could have ridden it to historical highs.

Bet a day trader made some quick profit.
I'm more of a Amex, Facebook and Microsoft kinda guy. :)

Curious to see how those *pandemic stocks* would do long term.
