Tired of looking at the 'electronics' section of my local Craig's List with the usual Playstations, iPods, and Coby VHS recorders, and wondered what the market holds in a more exotic locale.

Surfed over to the London Craigslist and opened their 'electronics' section.

Wow! Looked more like Audiogon than garage sale leftovers. Instead of Sony, Emerson, and RCA, there was Mcintosh, Krell, and Linn. And a bunch of brands that I'm not familiar with. Fascinating, too expensive for my budget, of unknown quality and reputation, and the wrong voltage.

Sure was fun to look at, though.

If you aren't quite noticing or accepting what is really going on in the present,
but are responding based on your thoughts or feelings about what ought to be,
then you are apt to collide with what is really going on.

You can find all of those marques on the Portland OR and Seattle WA Craigslist at the moment, along with cj, Audio Research, Decware, Rega and quite a few others.

If you live in the US it's a cheaper ticket then Britain and the import duties don't come into play either.
