Reminds me of that old joke. How do you make a small fortune selling audio equipment? Start with a large fortune.

I'm not sure what's odd about it. They seem to sell quite a few brands. Especially Ayon.
The price listed is just space filler. You don't really think that's what they would charge for repairs do you?

At first glance it does look like they're selling the business. Wonky! (nt), posted on May 20, 2017 at 06:24:37

But then I thought, a brick-and-mortar tube audio business for thirty grand would be a flat-out steal..... Especially if there is no rent to be paid and included existing stock.......

The place actually exists and looks like the picture. A business with 5 employees that is for sale for 30k has some seriously thin margins.

This is a very nice high end store with a full service department that has been in business for 40 years. The ad is an attempt of being creative to get attention, it seems to be working. If it where truly for sale, one would need to add a few more zeros to the asking price.

I'd be more concerned about the PayPal fee. Or maybe that's included. :))

This is the place in the Southwest that claims to be on the West Coast. Spatially disoriented.

Who is willing to pay $300K or $3 million for an audio dealership/repair business these days unless it is one of the handful of mega dealers out there?

Even then who knows how profitable these mega dealers are and how much of that profit is because of the personality of the owner.
