All,
I have re-joined the ranks of the Employed- within the audio industry.
Many (many) years ago I worked for Music Reference - and then resigned and moved to Northern CA and worked for Audible Illusions. That all ended in 1994.

Since then I have worked in a number of different industries in the SF Bay Area.

Due to life's unending stream of changes, I am back, in the industry - working with Roger Modjeski at Music Reference / Ram Labs.

I am writing this more in the interest of informing you - fellow members- as my status has changed.

It is good to be back in the manufacturing end of things again - but it is also a very different world from the late 80's-early 90's...

Happy Listening

as we get older it becomes more difficult to change "jobs" and boot
complacency in the butt or just ... move on when necessary.

Best of luck with the new gig!

Aside from the stuff we all probably know about (less of everything) what has changed for the better and what do you think needs a comeback?

Right now, that is a tough question-
At first blush, the demand is for simpler devices - less options for adjustments or flexibility-
ask me again in a year - I should have a better grasp-
