does anyone know of a cost effective way to soundproofing a room preferably something to go over the exsisting 1/2" drywall? Home depot sells 4x8 sheets of a dense carboard material to deaden sound at $15 a sheet. Do you think this stuff will work or is there somthing better in this price range?
