Anyone have experience with this amp? It has been called the best sounding ss amp at any price by Peter Moncreiff of the IAR magazine.
What speakers match up well with it?
Any experience with the Audio Refinement CD player or tuner?
Thanks.

Bryston B60R. I saw a "nearly new" used Audio Refinement Integrated on Audioshopper.com recently that listed for $700 - which would have been a great bargain.
FWIW, Audio Mag's current issue (April) gives it an excellent review also. This amp is gaining a reputation for being smooth, with a slightly rolled-off top end and excellent detail. It seems to fit between the Rotel/NAD/Creek and the Bryston/Classe/Acurus groups.

There are those that would argue the Audio Refinement is above the Bryston/Classe/Acurus Group. Yet your assessment is correct - it is a great amp. Cheers.

Maybe a high end roll off is a good thing in amplifiers. Most audiophiles can't hear those high freqs anyway. Rolling off can also roll off distortion.
Didn't Quad of England do that with their solid state amps?
