I am about to pull the trigger on one but would like user comments on long term use, tweaks to make it better, and satisfaction. If it was replaced, with what?

I got one about 28 hours ago. This has to be the best bargain in digital

The next option will be Cambridge CXC V2 tray loading and has a natural sound with no high-frequency rolloff.

If are able to compare them both side-by-side then you can make your choice. I am told my a friend who works as hifi salesman that Cyrus CDi as transport is a major step up to the audiolab 6000T and the CXC.

Good luck!

Thanks for the 411, but, the MSRP of the 6000 is a reasonable $600-650, whereas the Cyrus is a player. I have several players, my intention was to get a dedicated transport

FYI, I am not experiencing any HF roll off, UNLESS, the cd is, which all too common with red book
