This is an astonishing (incredible?) statement given its title, for a web freebie that seeks to attract advertisements via awarding 'Greatest Bits' crowns based on one person's hardware reviews.

Try posting something like this on their website and see how ML reacts?

 Obviously you don't "get it" after being banned from AudioStream some time ago.

The site is doing very well since the removal of what I like to refer to as the Audio Fascists. These are people who are not satisfied with just posting their opinion, but demand that you embrace it or else.

Other sites such as CA and AA (Computer Audiophile) have had to do the same thing.

 He banned me on a false assumption by him but what has this to do with the issues raised?

Making excuses instead of discussing the points raised by me and many others is just another excuse.

The ML post should have been entitled 'Audiostream Private Service Announcement (to do as we wish with censoring comments) and had nothing to do with Public Service.

 I pretty much agree with his point.

If I were an advertiser I would be forced to bypass a site where the editor uses such a combative approach with his readers.

Smart: Just delete the offending comments and move on.

Dumb: Getting suckered into fights with commenters, or worse, posting that you have a problem with commenters and have to threaten them.

 Pretty simple statement which basically seems to be no different than policy here. Ad hominem posts on AA are often removed by mods. Unless the OP can point to some posts expressed reasonably and without name calling that were either summarily deleted on that site or responded to with name calling I don't get why the OP thinks its so outrageous.

Fmak was banned from that site and is no longer allowed to flame and incite uproars among the civil participants and reviewers there. So he brought his little spat here by linking to the article hoping to get a rise among the inmates.
