I found Kal Rubinson's "Music in the Round" in this issue of Stereophile especially informative. It provoked me to reset the SACD output in the menu of my Oppo 105 to DSD. The settings for the mains and surrounds are sufficiently close that I sacrifice little by the Oppo not processing MCH SACDs. The Oppo analog goes to Cary Cinema 11a inputs set to bypass. I've yet to connect my Mac Mini to the Oppo to sample CA DSD. db
