I have a set of speaker cables on loan and wish to hook the up to an amp that only accepts spades(Classe' CA-200). Is there any good way to make the connection short of flattening the bananna and cranking it down?

Bob,
Though not positive, I think I remember seeing an adaptor made by Monster when I was on a quest for spades. If you do the smash-a-roo to the loaners, won't you end up having to own them?

I would never alter equipment that i did not own, just mentioned flattening them as it was the only method i could think of to make the connection. I actually found a set of spades lying around and crimped them on to the end of the banannas. Not sure how well it worked tho. The cables sounded great when connected to one amp(the one that accepted banannas) but not so hot when i hooked them up to the Classe via the spades. Not sure if it was the spades or the cables with that amp... but all i know is i sure do not like that combination.
