hi,
i just bought a processor, an EAD encore actually. i was expecting this processor has the ST glass input which has been
claimed to be superior connection for digital compared to others. however, EAD has replace the ST glass input with coaxial
SPDIF. i was wondering if the ST connection really make a huge different in sound quality. i can exchange the unit with the
version that has the ST glass, i afraid that i will waste the money by buying the ST cable which is quite expensive in comparison
to coax cable. but, if the different is huge and worth the trouble i will be getting to exchange the unit and the shipping cost also
the cost of a new AT&T cable, i will give it a try.
i plan to use the ST glass to connect my cd transport.

my system consist of:
Paradigm studio 100 V2
paradigm studio cc
cardas quadlink 5C speaker cable
kimber hero I/C
dh lab silver sonic I/C
EAD Encore pre/ pro / DAC
ATI AT1506 amplifier
EAD T-1000 cd transport.
canare digital cable.

and what do you think of my setup?
please let me know via email.
