Furez FZ124AS 12/4 speaker cable wired with a star quad geometry is another option to consider. Easily DIY-terminated with solderless set-screw banana plugs.

Duster ....I'm building this cable ( Furez ) as we speak. Mostly as an inexpensive experiment to see if I hear any advantage in bi-wiring two of the speakers I currently have. I already had 12 Nakamichi solderless bananas sitting around, so that was a pretty solid incentive for openers.

Are you using a single Furez FZ124AS 12/4 speaker cable as an internal bi-wire cable? If so, you should wire it differently than the cross-connected star quad geometry.

For an internal bi-wire configuration, wire the four conductors with a side-by-side geometry rather than cross-connected. This means connecting the black and white conductors for the low-pass section (Black for Negative, White for Positive), with the green and red conductors for the high-pass section (Green for Negative, Red for Positive).

BTW, Nakamichi never made audio connectors, so all of them are bogus branded. What type of contacts are involved with your banana plugs? There are a few different types in the marketplace, with one type that should be avoided.

Will do on the hook up method. Yes, realize Nak never made a connector, but these have been decent solderless bananas IMHO. Again, thx for the wiring tip.

I've tried every type of banana including the locking type, beryllium leaf spring, hollow pin with tensioner, BFA, and found this type with brass leaf spring leaf contacts to perform at the bottom of the list. It provides a very firm grip mechanically, but the sonic signature is decidedly poor when compared to the other designs, IME.

I'm open for suggestions. Very easy to swap, but they have to be able to accommodate the two 12 gauge wires when they're twisted together.(which the Nak's are "barely" able to do)

At the risk of seeming like a fanboy of Viborg, a low-cost but not cheap option I recommend is an 8-pack of Viborg BFA connectors for the loudspeaker ends, and a 4-pack of Viborg pure copper spades for the amplifier ends that will fit the 9 AWG aggregate/effective gauge of the 4-conductor Furez cable.

Thx Duster. Is there a possibility the Viborg bananas could be used at the amplifier as well where I'm dealing with the 9AWG aggregate? Really would rather use bananas here as well.

The mechanical connection at the amplifier end would be better served by a locking banana plug with an 8 AWG maximum capacity.

This Taiwanese-made product from Parts Express is available from an eBay seller with a shipping charge that's a few dollars less.
