I need about 3 meters to reach the wall, perhaps even ten feet would be nice. The plug and socket ends must not come out just because the cable is so damm thick and heavy it won't support it's own weight--how about a "locking" connection? A right angle socket on the gear end should I need it (I do). I don't give a hoot what it sounds like--but it should look nice and feel nice. If it's so damm thick you need the turning circle of the Exxon Valdez to place it then better make that 10 meters in length.

Everybody's so hung up on sound. Too many cables are just plain ugly and impractical. If I had a decent hammer and a band saw I'd make my own.

At last someone who thinks "looks" do matter in life! I have a few
bids at auction on some NBS a/c cords. Their mid level stuff. I
don't think it's nearly as thick as some cords, although they make
the STATEMENT which looks like it won't bend more than 5 degrees.

I just need something offering better performance that the cheap
Chinese cords packaged with my Golden Tube stuff. Why is China
still living in the '50s?
