either the Conrad Johnson ET250s or the MF2550? Curious how they sound and what the difference between them might be. Any comments on one or both would be appreciated.

I obviously don't have either but I can tell you CJ makes some VERY NICE gear!!!

There logo "it just sounds right" really describes their stuff.

There are a few posting groups on the CJ web site. Also try a search or posting there as well.

I do not have experience with Conrad-Johnson's MF-2550, so I am not at liberty to comment. Offline, you can ask me about the Sonographe SA250 and CJ MF-2250A.

As long as you use suitably honest, neutral, transparent after-market powercord and fuses, the Conrad-Johnson ET-250S, on a sonic basis, is relatively true to the source. That means it will reflect what is upstream, and then tell you what your speakers (at the mercy of the room, of course) sound like.

Since I published that review, I added more posts about the CJ ET-250S:
