I just picked up a JVC JL-F50 turntable at my local thrift store for $10 and after I got it home and cleaned it up it looks great and works perfectly. The cart was shot, but I swapped it for an old goldring electra I had laying around and it sounds pretty darn good - I was suprised. I think it will be a great second table to play older thrift store vinyl. Anyway I tried searching, but I couldn't find any information on this table. Do any of you have any opinions and/or experience with this or a similar table? Either way, I think I got a good deal and am stoked!
Follow Ups:
Mid-level table from 1977. Retailed for $250. That makes $10 a pretty good deal I'd say. I believe it was their best non-quartz table at the time. Should serve you well--enjoy it!
Thanks
