Hello, nice table....I've never owned one but I really like it. What puzzles me is that I've always been told that the 121 is a one-speed 124 (cheaper to manufacture and therefore cheaper on the market) whilst if you fitted a 135 spindle, well, the bearing must be a 135's! Any idea from fellow (and more informed) inmates? Thanks!

Hello Stefano,
I read your article about Thorens, and thought that I should email you about the TD 121. It has a 10mm bearing, so the 135 platter fits right in.
