"Hello Jeff,
Thank you very much for informing all the hifi people. As I don´t know how the Vinyl Asylum works, could you please say thank you for me to all these people. I´m very proud that Garth was loved by so many. I miss him every second.

Thanks Jeff,
I always enjoyed reading Garth's posts. He helped me privately, too, and I used his cable with one of my tonearms, FWIW. I miss him.
"I miss him every second". There it is.
A friend just buried his mother, and my wife buried her grandmother. Women in their nineties. It comes to us all, and there's no getting ready. And Garth was too young.
Thanks for sharing these messages
I browse more than anything here but I just read the original post about his passing. He was obviously well respected and very knowledgable and I always knew when I read his posts I would gain good information.
My Condolences!
Brian
In fact I use to when I'd find sellers in Germany that
A. Didn't take PayPal or
B Didn't ship overseas I'd say to my self
Oh Garth where are you.
Sadly missed
He was one of the good guys.
I completely missed your first post. I was already missing Garth's posts all summer....
I posted a message on one of the main German analog forums as well. Please feel free to refer Garth's family to this post as well: "Garth Philippe aka Mr. Incognito" post on the AAA forum
With best wishes to everyone who new Garth well, especially his family!

He was a very generous person. He helped me to buy a record in Germany, and then insisted that I receive it as a gift. I was just a fellow VA member to him, nothing else. My prayers for you, Garth.
Thanks, Jeff. I knew that Garth was seriously ill -- we had corresponded privately -- but missed the announcement of his passing.
Add my name to this who will miss him and enjoyed his presence at the Asylum.

My best wishes to Garth's family and friends in these trying times. :(
I too miss Garth very much. I'm glad his family could see how much he meant to the forum and its members. May he rest in peace.

I was out of town in early July and missed this news completely. I'm very sad now. Garth was the person I respected the most on this forum. In fact on any forum. That guy absolutely knew what he was talking about. I'll miss him. I hope his family is doing as well as is possible. My very best wishes to them all.
