Hi Inmates,Brought home a vintage Nak TA-2A receiver, circa 1988.
I was thinking about using it as a phono stage. My Creek 4330R lacks the optional phono board. I am currently using the phono stage of a Marantz 2240B circa 1976. It sounds good but it's a tad noisy.Any experiences with the Nak? specially it's phono performance. Is it better than a 1970's Marantz?
Regards,

If I recall, it was better than the typical mass market receivers of its day, but I think the Creek board would beat it. If you got it cheap then great, try it out and post your results.
