Hey cactus, first time I noticed the new Technics in your photos.
Then, even a a more than casual jazz fan I don't recall hearing of Don Elliott, let alone as a 5 time Down Beat winner. So I had to Google to be educated.
Lastly, hope you continue to improve, and good to see the pups there for support.

Yes I still have the SP-15. It's in my shop right now, I need to address a speed accuracy issue. My wife told me to spend money (tax write off for my audio/video transfer business) so I bought the Technics SL-1210GR. Great turntable love it and tne new Ortofon Quintet Blue cartridge.
I was especially happy to find the Don Elliot LP. MY late friend Ronnie Bedford played drums on it, so it's kind of special.
it seems every album you pull out is interesting, with some kindling a desire to possess.
I don't know how you do it, but I enjoy the skilled posts , and thank you for the bright spot when you post.
I always enjoy your posts. What a record collection. Love the records and how you get the dogs in the pics. Those 2 are sweet!
I had to look up Powell, WY. I once camped out overnight in the Big Horn National Forest some 40+ years ago. I remember it because the milk froze solid by the time I woke up the next morning. It was cold. I know I ended up in Cody, but not sure if I went through your town.
Anyway, keep up the great posts!

I had seen a few used albums from L7 in the bins, and had no idea they were female and so talented. Much respect for not trading on gender to get ahead.
I first heard that L 7 was something to avoid on the fantastic old Sam the Sham single, " Woolly Bully"
Took me a long time to finally realize L7 is a square, which you don't want to be, and everyone should dance, or at least learn, as instructed by the song lyrics.
that stuff, certainly not in Wyoming. I never see punk and metal in Alaska thrifts and garage/estate sales. Actually, I don't listen to it, but I am curious how far you traveled to find it.
That Wayne Shorter LP was found here in NW Wyoming as part of a 1,300 piece Jazz collection buy two years ago. That was indeed a 'killer score'. Here's a link to my YouTube video detailing that buy.

I'll get this run in before any comments.
