I guess it was about 6 or 7 years ago-I had just given my wife a ride to a work related event in Del Mar, CA with plans to have dinner later, and I decided to head over to Lou's Record's in Encinitas to kill some time. On the way over, I heard Pure on a Sirius station and was immediately hooked, it's one catchy ear worm. When I got to Lou's, they had used CD's of both Cloudcuckooland and Jollification and picked them both up, been a big fan ever since. I'd love to find them both on vinyl, haven't even seen them in the wild (I gather they are European releases only. Ian Broudie still has the band very active in the UK, and they tour there regularly.
I found a minty looking copy of Lyle's self titled debut on vinyl a couple of weeks ago-it's in the to be cleaned stack.
I'm gonna have to drag my copy off the shelf and give it a spin.
I can't recall whether that was an import or not. Bought it when it came out. I'll let you know.
BTW, hope you're as happy with "The Art of Tea" as I am with mine. Speakers Corner did it again!

I've been out in weather that cold already.
Been out in light rain with temps in the 30s. It's 40 degrees this morning--we're getting March weather this month, 40 one day, 20 the next--but it's raining really hard and the roads were coated with salt from Thursday night's snow.
If not for the salt, I'd be out on local roads as soon as it was light enough. Don't care about the rain.

You're a better man than I am! Haven't got the energy or the drive to do what you do. I admire the 70+ guys I see riding up huge hills around here on a regular bike. I hated that when I was in my 20s.
Just on local streets. It was in the low-40s with light rain, which is actually kind of fun.
But the locals used so much damned salt brine on the roads, even after all the rain we got Saturday night and yesterday, the roads are still scummed with salt. The bike would have taken a real beating.
This morning, of course, it's only about 15 degrees with a steady wind. Went for a 2-mile walk looking for hills to climb.
