hello experts,
which Lundahl transformer (LL....)is the best choice for my Dynavector Te Kaitora Rua? unfortunately i do not find any recommendations on the web.
as you know the TKR delivers 0.26 mV only. the secondary Lundahl coil would work on the MM input of my eastern electric phono pre, 47 kohm input load typically.
any recommendations or experiences?
thank you!
Nunki
BTW: actually my TKR feeds a vintage FRT-3 and i am (still) quite happy with it...

Don't know about 'best', but my ModWright PH-150 Reference phono stage includes Lundahl SUT and sound s great. It is a flexible tube phono stage that is worth checking out.
accomplished!
iīll stick with my vintage FRT-3. a pretty remarkable SUT.

I have a FRT-4 that's very good sounding.

Glad your FRT SUT is working for you.
Just FYI, my K&K basic SUT with Lundahl LL9226 transformers sounds very good (dynamic and quiet) with a Denon DL-300 (0.3mV, so close in output to your DV).
jepp, agreed!
the FRTīs all have good reputations. donīt know whether the FRT-4 sounds "better" than FRT-3 but is obviously more convenient. although i only have one single tonearm in use i will look for an FRT-4 (if the price is reasonable...).

I think it's ability to switch to different setup up ratios for different cartridges is more important than having three inputs.
