I just bought this from Ebay and this morning made a 1 gallon batch to try this weekend and now I just received a refund from the seller. It may not be Tergikleen after all.
Follow Ups:
So the link I posted has changed to the new product. Apparently that seller ripped off the original maker of Tergikleen and had to discontinue sales and change the formula. That explains why the updated ad said Tergikeen and now it's Tergiking. Here's from the original maker of Tergikleen:
YES, Ebay user "supremesalenozzle" blatantly counterfeited our Tergikleen® product, with a cheap fake label and used our Registered Trademarked name and logo. He even copied my product photos I spent many hours doing. Our sales completely stopped on Ebay and Amazon because he was selling for about $10 cheaper. Then we started getting emails from customers wondering why our bottles now had cheap fake labels on them, they thought they were buying from US. What was IN the bottles is not our product. I messaged him and demanded he stop immediately, and that our name and logo are Federally registered Trademarked and sent him a link to the full text of our trademark ownership on the Federal web page. He claimed he wasn't breaking any laws and and claimed that he BOUGHT OUR BUSINESS on Etsy! We thought he had gotten scammed, but after getting several disturbed messages from him, I don't believe anything he says. I reported him to Ebay's trademark protection group, "VERO," sent them our trademark number documents and registration number. It took like 5 messages and they basically did nothing. He should have had his seller account deleted, he is still there. So he pulled the listing after we sent him a legal "cease and desist" form, he renamed it, "Tergikeen." One letter removed. This is STILL a trademark violation and I reported him again and VERO did nothing. VERO, are obviously employees in India, and they clearly do not understand Trademark LAW. Finally after we told him were going to seek a lawyer, he changed the name again to "Tergiking." Thats still not legal, but at least we mostly got rid of him. He refunded the money, so no one could give him bad feedback. I would not use what he sold, he's a 20 year old kid who tried to steal our business, and mixed a toxic coctail making false claims for it. Shame on Ebay for giving cheats a free pass.

his product now as to the actual contents. At .east you are getting a refund.
but not record cleaning, it is a labor of love.
cheers
someone else's product called Tergikleen. They are both the same chemical solution(nonionic surfactant Triton X-100), and they are in the same 30ml container.
30ml Tergikleen costs $29.95. Your 30ml Tergikeen(now Tergiking) costs $19.95. Amazon sells 120ml TeitonX-100 for $12.
Hopefully, I read everything correctly. In any case, do not throw out your bottle of Tergikeen.
Also, despite what your seller says about alcohol, you may find it difficult to mix concentrated Triton X-100 with distilled water without first mixing the concentrate with a little alcohol first. You probably found out that it doesn't take much Tergikeen to make one gallon of cleaning fluid.
Finally, the shelf life of Triton X-100 is not guaranteed past two years according to Dupont Chemical. However, my bottle is still good after 15 years. Still, Tergikeen's claim of never expiring does not match Dupont's published statement.
Far be it from me to contradict or argue with a DuPont chemist, but I ran a lab for 40 years, during which time we used the same single (plastic, 500ml) bottle of concentrated Triton X100, which we stored on an open shelf at room temperature. Potential contaminating bacteria and fungi cannot grow in it. Because the final concentrations used in biology rarely exceed 0.1%, more usually .01%, and the volume of any final solution is typically around 100ml, a single bottle of the concentrate lasts effectively forever. The same applies to LP cleaning. Normally, you would add a tiny volume of concentrated Triton X100 to a large volume of the final solution, so its solubility is never a problem. Could it be that DuPont wants to sell product? That single bottle was still sitting on the shelf in my lab when I retired about 3 years ago. I know I have written this before, sorry for that.
How much Triton X100 per 32oz for cleaning records?
Thanks

I guess I can't read. How many drops of Triton X100 in 32oz of record cleaner for a Keith Monks type record cleaner machine?

Since one gallon equals 3785ml, then a .13% solution of Triton would be 4.92ml per gallon. I use a graduated cylinder with easy to ready 5ml(4.92 rounded off). I don't have any cylinders that accurately measure less than one ounce, so I use milliliters.

I looked at the bottle I have and it says Tergikleen. Go figure?

The ad was removed but the copy on my Ebay app does say Tergikleen.
use the name Tergikleen in your eBay ad when another company was already using it? His refund statement makes it more confusing when he uses the names Tergikeen and Tergikleen in the same sentence.
