Hey there - I also posted this in the Tube/DIY section.
Hello everyone! I am desperately seeking help to get my Wright Sound WPP-200c up and running again. My audio tech has determined that the transformer has gone bad in the WPS04 power supply. I did look on the forum and - among other things - reached out to O-Netics, who may have made the transformer...it sounds like Bud Purvine has retired, but I am still hopeful that someone there can help.
In the meantime, does anybody on the forum either have experience with replacing the transformer on this unit, or have any ideas on where I could find one? I know that Roger Hug recently passed away.
Many thanks!

You could try Hammond and get something close. I would go higher on the current output. Some adjustments might have to be made to get the voltages proper but that's the easy part. A descent tech would know what to do.
Roger Hug rebuilt my Wright Sound WPS04 power supply unit a few years back, which included installing a new transformer. I did not know that he had recently passed away and I'm very sorry to hear it. Roger had a great deal of respect for George Wright's designs.
Although his wait list for tube gear repair and mods had grown to almost a year around the time he had my unit, I enjoyed many interactions with him over the phone and when it was said and done I was (and remain) very happy with his work. RIP.

It's a 120V primary, Secondary is: 650V Center Tap (C.T.) @50mA (Blu-Blu/Wht-Blu), 6.4V @2A (Yel-Yel), and 13V C.T. @2A (Wht-Wht/Blk-Wht
Thanks for the info! I ran those specs past the tech who is working on the unit, and he thought they made sense. The challenge, of course, is to find a transformer that matches these specs - while hopefully coming close to fitting on the WPS04.
Any suggestions?
Best bet is to email transformer manufacturer like Herboer, Trancendar, Electraprint, One Electron etc. and ask if they can build one for you.
I had great service from Heyboer (link below) when they built a transformer for me.To bebopdeluxe, you may even be able to send them your original transformer along with the required specifications, so that the new one will match the original in size and appearance, as well as specs.
I've read that they're quite backed up with work at the moment, so you may have a wait ahead of you. Apparently everyone's staying home and finally getting around to those "someday" projects.
