Sad to hear this.

From my first AT440ML in the mid 2000's to the Denon 103 I got last year. Many in between.
Thank you,

"Life without music is a mistake" (Nietzsche)
I did not know he had closed the store due to cancer, thought it was just some "I'm closing, retiring" story. I purchased some of my best carts from him, and turned countless of my friends into needle doctor customers. He was such a good person to buy from, his customer service was great. So sad to see him go, 62 is not old enough.
Closing his store due to illness left a big void in vinyl-related and component sales and customer service. I always found his staff to be extraordinarily friendly and helpful.
Mr. Raskin knew how to operate a business that kept his employees and customers happy. It was obvious, even at a distance via the telephone (I reside in Florida).
I hope that some day soon his brother or others will reopen the business.
Thank you, Mr. Raskin, family, and staff for the many years of unsurpassed service.
RIP Jerry
He was a gentleman and very helpful when I called on him. I did some business with him in the past.
I purchased a few items over the years. Great service and advise. He did a lot for our cause in music enjoyment. Rest in peace and condolences to his family and friends.
