I would be very, very cautious with any of the "goo" cleaning products. There is evidence the "goo" accumulates on the stylus...I have had more than one re-tipper say they have had to remove "goo" from the stylus that was sent to them for re-tipping, only to discover the coating, once removed revealed a perfectly acceptable stylus.
Magic Eraser is a much better choice. Ask your favorite re-tipper.
Follow Ups:
.. I never had a problem with the goo sticking to the stylus. I also have the ME. I rarely use it but it's a good feeling to know that it's there just in case.
My re-tipper discovered the "goo" on a cartridge I sent for a rebuild...He was able to remove it, but the only "cleaning" I had used on that particular cartridge was the Onzow...so....
It's known as watchmakers putty. Those guys use it to hold small parts as they're working which, if they were prone to getting "gooey", they wouldn't use it.
The Tango: A kind of Naval Engagement but without the Seamen
microfibers from the Magic Eraser can wrap themselves around the stylus tip and they're difficult to remove.
The dip method is recommended, though he recommends Blu-Tak.
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?

Yes, I can see that could be a problem, especially if the micro-fibers were allowed to "hang around" during play when things heat up.
I guess the only safe solution is clean records and a soft brush.
FWIW, I've been using the dip method for over a year. No gunk.
OTOH, I used Magic Eraser for years before that. No fibers wrapped around the stylus tip either.
