I am looking to buy specifically an album from Aurora: All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend.
But if no one can comment on that album - perhaps the record label has a good/poor reputation for sound quality.
Thanks.

In other words don't be a cheap ass and just buy the darn thing. Okay okay.
Aurora is one of my new favorites so at worst I'll just buy the CD if the vinyl doesn't work out.

if it sucks your out the price of a movie.

The problem is that I live in Hong Kong and the shipping to here is usually terrible and I've been burned on some of these new artists and quality of prints. I'd buy from the big HMV here but they have a zero return policy on all vinyl. Plus the price is likely to be closer to $40.
I can afford it - but I sometimes regret not buying the CD in such instances - which never have problems.
I understand your point, but maybe the good poster is developing advanced anti-dud record strategies and needs a hand.
It might be that, like myself, he has a random assortment of kind of good records, that are not often played buy are not worth selling, because the record store doesn't need more piles of dreck.
Prevention is the best cure, UNtil a cure is found , or until we find a guy with indifferent tastes who collects vinyl, we must all suffer. ,
