Have not seen many comments on this one. I am going to be upgrading up the Benz line and am looking at this one(high output .7ma)or the Ebony H (2.5 ma). For an Orbe TT with Tecnoarm. I would prefer to dispense with the wood body--already have lots of warmth in my tube based system.
Opinions?

I have the technoarm as well on a gyro. ive been "eyeing" this very same cart for a while and considering the Miyajima shilabe. I'd really enjoy hearing what your have learned thus far, Mendel. 10Audio reviews the shilabe but doesnt seem to like the other Benz carts as i interpret it. if you care to, share your findings. thanks.!!!
Thanks for the reply MillHouse.
I definitely need to do something as my M2 has seen a lot of hours. Given the trade in value Benz gives you for your old cartridge, it kind of makes sense to stay with the brand (I like the sound too!). When I get the new cartridge, I will certainly post and let you know how it likes the tecnoarm.
Can't believe no one has a Gullwing. Any Ebony H owners out there? Any one using a higher end Benz on a tecnoarm?
I had an Ebony H....it was a wonderful cartridge....in some ways, better than my current favorite the Ebony LPS. I truely believe that the less your prepre has to do, the better the sound. The H excels in dynamics providing a realism to the party that is quite wonderful. The LPS is much more refined, however, unless you A/B them, you very well might choose the H
Thanks for the response. Would you say the Ebony H is a fast, detailed cartridge, or more a rich, full sounding one. I think my M2 is in the latter camp, and would like to pick up a little more speed and detail. My phono pre is the built in stage of the Audio Research SP14 but it has been modified with better caps and resistors and a Amperex 6922 pinched waist tube :) I agree that the higher output Ebony would work well, but my current M2 is only .8ma output and seems to work well also.
