Currently I'm using a Denon DL-110 on Rega RP3 with great results, but I've also acquired the ubiquitous and acclaimed DL-103 cartridge with a tip that needs replacement. Before I do, however, I'd like to know if the cartridge is ultimately compatible with this arm as the DL-103 is quite a bit heavier than the DL-110 and I've read in here of some issues the 103 has with lighter-weight tonearms. In addition, Rega has re-designed the RB303 and reduced its mass, so the incompatibility issues might be exacerbated?
Basically I'd like to know if anyone is currently using the DL-103 with the RB303 and experiencing no issues insofar as resonance or tracking problems. I'd love to hear from both users and expert's opinions.

I'm not an RB303 user, but I know that you can increase the mass of any tonearm simply by adding mass to the headshell. There are actually little headshell weights designed specifically for this purpose. In fact, Soundsmith makes special mounting bolts for the same purpose. Just make sure the weight you choose for the DL-103 is not magnetic or attractable by magnets.
Anyway, you should be able to make your tonearm compatible with the DL-103 simply by adding the required additional mass. Furthermore, Soundsmith can retip your DL-103, too.
Good luck,

...will probably put the counterweight at the end of the rear stub...or not be heavy enough. However, I can probably compensate for an inadequately heavy counterweight by decreasing the VTF at the spring dial.Thank you for the link to the headshell weight source, and yes, all I've read about Soundsmith in here tells me that's the way to go. I've also obtained a transformer and I'm going to use some resistors and rca plugs to get the proper loading using a method which I found in these archives--the method which you devised :)

I've bookmarked your links, both are perfect for my application. This is a wonderful place.
I used this with my DL103r and it worked very well on My RB700

It adds tapped screw mounting to a DL103/R much easier to mount this way and 2mm height adjustment to level the arm
You do attach it to the cartridge with super glue.

There are heavier counterweights available if you need one.
