I think that the Akito would be a much better performer than the Jelco 250.
I had a Jelco branded Revolver arm on a Standard Revolver and replaced it with a LINN BASIK. I thought the Basik with the revolver was a better combination.
I never tried the Jelco on my LP12. The ITTOK is working very well.
A used ITTOK should be the way to go, if you aren't satisfied with the AKito. From what I heard the newer Akito II's were close to the ITTOKs.

I once came close to getting a used Ittok, but that arm looked a little suspicious and I didn't close the sale. So, I feel that it may be better to buy something new. Maybe the Akito II would be the best value choice.
