of some girls in my past. You really want them, until they open their mouth.
Could not be happier to get rid of them (Actually 4311). But if someone wants to waste a money...

I left a pair in a thrift store for $50. Sorrounds were gone, of course. I just couldn't see going though the work of re-coning for that crappy sound. Financially, it was a mistake, but I don't regret it. I just don't like putting effort into something I don't believe in. Life is too short.

Not good memories though. I attended a demo of L100s hosted by a JBL rep. The bright and piercing sonics were frying my ears. Horrible. In compensation for the torture session, all attendees received a JBL promotional LP that contained audio test tracks, which I found useful.

it's 4310 monitor progenitor was responsible for mastering quite a few recordings back in the 70s.
With their decided mid bass and lower treble humps, I wonder if that is why classics from bands like Led Zeppelin sound thin and dull when played back using neutral speakers.
Too bad if you have to listen to them.
pretty much my story, i bought them off an original owner buddy of mine (no kids, no wife) almost 10 years in pristine condition, sans rotted foam grills, replaced those with burnt orange color and never listened to them!
Wretched sounding, but to each his own.
were quite popular back in the day. Rockers loved them. :)
Not mine, no way, not mine.

Did you look at the biding history ?
In the last day they went from 1575 to 3350 with 4 bidders & 3 in the last 7 seconds.
They do look pristine.
Fools and their money easily parted.
I have an all original, pristine, one owner pair...but no cardboard...would off them in a heartbeat at that price!
Decades agi I sold them at a chain called Wall to Wall Sound. The Dynaco A25s that were there mainly for bait and switch were way better.
Shouldn't be drinking and bidding at the same time. I speak from experience.
