This pair of speakers were sitting beside the dumpster at a thrift store I visited today. I guess there was no love for them. They look pretty nice to me though. I just can't figure out what brand they are. It's an 8-inch woofer and two three inch tweeters. Treated accordions surround in fairly decent shape and nice veneer easily restorable. Just two screw terminals on the back no other markings. Any ideas what brand they are?

Aztec out of Denver, CO. maybe?
I've seen similar from that company with the dual 3" tweeters.

I know I read somewhere that KLH bought cabinets from an outside supplier who also sold the same cabinets to other speaker companies. A pic of the grille cloth might be helpful. They do look familiar, almost like something Radio Shack might have sold.
Here's a photo when they were in the trunk of my car with one Grill cloth on it was a black large weave, no badges. I'm recovering the grills now with some AR5 type material
Those grill-cloths don't look anything like KLH, but than neither do the ones on my father's KLH 32's. He changed them to match the kitchen.

Also, they don't sound too bad at all!
I was gonna guess RTR, but after a little checking I agree with Mike that they are homebrew in a KLH 17 cabinet.
Definitely a KLH cabinet.
Dave
The front baffle looks pretty factory. Did KLH HAVE that type of contours in a model?
Should have been "cutouts"
Yes, but I don't remember any KLH speaker with 2 tweeters. I think it has been modified. Is there anything written on the back?
Dave
Those may be homebrew Craig.
