Any opinions on which wins for detail and definition? Amp is NAD 326 tho amp and front end may change. Room is about 16x15 odd shape. listen to classical, jazz, blues, oldies.
I posted this on speaker asylum too to address a different crowd with different biases. I've always like the Brit monitor thing though the SLs are pretty long in the tooth. Fond memories however. I had a pair of 700s but apart from getting sick of lugging their gray shot-loaded stands around I thought they sounded a little metallic, unlike the SL6. Probably all in my mind but I'm kind of stuck with my mind. Thanks for any comments! Still hoping to get a tube amp and pair with my cool EMI Dangerous Loudspeakers (which are probably still dangerous in their storage locker)!

Follow Ups:
I always like PSB very much. Nice mellow but yet detailed speaker. Good quality.
However you are going to need a sub.
I would get them over the Celestions
Thanks for your input. I have read about PSB and have a lot of respect for them but I heard their XB and B models today in a less than ideal setup and didn't think they had the level of resolution I recall from the Celestions. Perhaps I'll try listening at a different showroom.
