I drove past Frank's old house in Scottsdale. Now a high end gated community on the side of a mountain.

he didn't like the winters in Binghamton NY. :)
The Old Man sort of fell in love with the desert, and yeah, I think he may well have gotten tired of shoveling snow. :) He built a heck of a house up the side of a mountain north of Phoenix. He loved to show off his stereo to anyone who visited - TD-125, MR-78, C-32, pair of 2125s bridged, each driving an XR-7 and ML-4M in parallel. Also had a very very early Philips CD player that had an early prototype of the MCD-7000's electronics in it.

I grew up there and could not blame him,
Now you couldn't pay me to live in Scottsdale.
