I'm finally getting around to restoring my Epicure Model One Amplifier. Five of the seven front panel lamps are out. All are IDI Line-o-Lite P/N 3590A48. These are black plastic boxes which snap into holes that measure 1.58" x .725". They have removable front panels with lettering on them. I have not been able to find replacements. I also can't find any specifications on the Chicago Miniature / IDI web site. There are two wire-lead lamps inside the housing. Unless someone knows of a source for the IDI lamp assembly, I'll have to find appropriate wire-lead lamps and solder them into the housings.
The power indicator lamp has 20 VAC across it. One of the overload indicators has 36 VDC across it when the lamp test switch is on. The two remaining good lamps measure 43 ohms and 60 ohms, but I don't know yet if both bulbs are lighting in either housing. Recommendations for replacement bulbs would also be appreciated.

Follow Ups:
Radio Shack sell a small matchead size lamp with wire leads. Their part number is 272-1092.
They are 12V/60mA. You can wire two in series for 24V, three for 36V, etc.
I have used these for lots of applications, including internal lamps in VU meters, receiver dials, etc.
I usually start with a 250-300 Ohm pot or rheostat in series with the lamp, and dial it down until the brightness is 60-70%. Then measure the resistance and install a 1/2W or 1W fixed resistor of approximately the same value. This way they last almost indefinitely.
Thanks Al,
I ended up using some very similar lamps from Mouser, CM #7219.
I put 2 of the 12V bulbs in series in each housing.
The warning lamps have about 28V on them in lamp test mode, but I'm not to worried about bulb life since the warning lamps never light-up during normal operation.

those might have had 20V axial lamps in them. Unfortunately, I don't know where to find these anymore. My Kenwood KD-600 uses them and I have not found any in a couple years of sporadic searching.
Using a different voltage and either multiple lamps of voltage drops should work. Does the SM call out for anything specific? Did you see if humanspeakers has any information that could help?
